Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon Aren’t Rushing to Get Married
Don’t expect pregnant Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood to rush down the aisle! While she may be pregnant, expecting her second child and first with boyfriend Andrew Glennon — the Forever Haute founder is not planning to get married just yet.
“We’re not talking about that,” she told E! News. “Right now, we’re happily living together and seeing where everything goes. Obviously, we jumped the gun and we’re having a baby, but I don’t know. He drops little hints here and there about things, but we haven’t necessarily talked about it.”
Amber met Andrew while filming Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition with her now ex-fiancé Matt Baier and mother, Tonya Portwood. We first learned of their relationship over the summer, not too long after she and Matt called it quits for good — and by November she announced that they were starting a family together. Amber has a nine-year-old daughter, Leah, from her relationship with Gary Shirley — while this will be baby No. 1 for the cameraman.
The reality star continues to prove that she learned a thing or two from being with Matt. Previously, she revealed that the new couple will not be merging bank accounts anytime soon. “With Matt, we had joint accounts, businesses together, things like that, and I’ve learned my lesson,” she told Us Weekly. “My money is my money, and when we’re together, we can help each other and be there for each other and take care of this child. But you know, Andrew is really good at knowing that we both have boundaries in certain things.”
Amber and Matt will welcome their new addition on May 13, 2018 — which is not only Mother’s Day, but the day before Amb’s birthday. The happy couple is expecting a boy that will be named James Andrew Glennon.
