Maci Bookout Says Ryan Edwards Has “Threatened to Hurt” Her While on Heroin
There was a protective order filed by Maci Bookout against her ex Ryan Edwards even before he was arrested, and now we know what exactly he did that made her so scared. Mackenzie Standifer's husband has allegedly been threatening Maci and driving under the influence, and she wants to keep Ryan away from her and her kids.
“He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son,” she wrote in the court docs, according to Radar. “He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don’t answer my phone.”
And that's not all. Mackenzie says that Ryan scared her the worst when he came unannounced to their son's May 2017 baseball game. “[He] showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me," she wrote. She also knows that he drives under the influence, which makes her very scared to allow her son to ride with him.
"His behavior and actions are getting worse," she insisted, though his wife Mackenzie said he was sober and doing better. "I am fearful for my three children and myself, and what he may do, based on his threats." To protect her family, Maci has requested that the courts stop him from contacting her or the kids, and to stay away from her home and work. This was before he got arrested again for violating probation and then shocking reports came out that he had been meeting women on Tinder again. We don't think Maci will have too hard a time getting what she wants from the judge.
