You know when you’re a little kid and you don’t want to go to bed, so you make up pretty much any reason so that you can stay up with your parents? Yeah, that’s what two of the OutDaughtered quints did on the night of Thursday, Oct. 4. Only it turns out for one of them, her belly button troubles may have been more than just her imagination. And after dad Adam Busby took to his Instagram story to share the funny joke about how Ava was complaining that her “belly button hurts,” things took a turn for the worst. Watch the video above to see what happened next — and Adam’s relatable AF reaction — and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.
Yeah, we’re pretty much on the same page just watching that Instagram story! Luckily, we’ve got a little extra distance from the issue. Now, we’re just hoping that everything turned out okay for Ava and that she just had an upset stomach rather than actually falling ill. The Busby daughter seemed just fine the other day when the whole fam hit the grocery store to pick up some much-needed provisions, but with little kids, those sicknesses can come on quickly.

3 year check up! It always takes Parker a while to warm up, but Dr. Kimble’s charisma wins them over and it’s hugs all around. It’s nice that the year was pretty much uneventful and the girls didn’t need to see their pediatrician since last year. #healthykids #outdaughtered
Though Adam has a sensitive nose, we have to imagine that he’s also got plenty of experience when it comes to cleaning up messes and dealing with pretty gross stuff. After all, he’s the dad of six daughters, five of whom are quints, so it’s not like he hasn’t changed his fair share of dirty diapers. We bet he’s a certified expert when it comes to things like “pooplosions” as Audrey Roloff calls them.
Lately, the Little People, Big World star has seemed to be bogged down with all kinds of baby blow outs. Now that we know that she and Danielle Busby are actually friends IRL, maybe the TLC parents can exchange tips for the best way to handle things — and catch them in their tracks before they get out of hand. (Or should we say out of diaper?) Either way, we bet between the Roloff family and the Busbys, they’ve got good solutions to pretty much any parenting problem you can think of. Now, if only they were experts on how to not sympathy puke while cleaning up after your little kids. That would be valuable info.
