‘ABP’ Star Matt Brown Is Living in California and Has ‘No Desire to Be Anywhere Near His Parents’
His brother isn’t the only one leaving home! After Noah Brown, his wife, and his new son moved to Colorado so that they could get a break from their family, big brother Matt Brown is following in their footsteps. According to a new Radar Online report, pretty much all of the older Alaskan Bush People kids have left the nest — and it’s because of conflict with Billy and Ami Brown. Despite what Rain Brown recently claimed about everyone living in the mountains, a family insider told the outlet that the parents’ relationship with most of their seven kids “could not be any worse” right now, and it’s pushed more than a few of them away.
“Matt is living with his girlfriend in California right now,” the source told Radar. “He has no desire to be anywhere near his parents and really wants nothing to do with them.” Though the Browns all seemed to hate the desert as they drove through it to explore Colorado back in season 7, Matt doesn’t seem to have any problems with it now. In fact, when he was briefly escaping his family after his stint in rehab in 2018, Palm Desert, California was just where he headed. And it sounds like he’s spent plenty of time in the state.
Fans have spotted palm trees in the background of more than a few of his recent Instagram posts. In another, he reminisced about time spent in the state. “I love yard work,” he wrote. “It reminds me of when my brothers and I did lawns to make gas money when we were broken down in California many years ago.” The family also spent time in Los Angeles while Ami was receiving treatment for lung cancer. But Matt and Noah aren’t the only ones to move out. According to Radar, Bam Bam and Gabe Brown have also moved out.
Bam Bam, who’s been dating producer Allison Kagan for years now, is living with his girlfriend who his parents seemingly disapprove of. “Bam Bam and Allison want nothing to do with his family. The only reason that Bam Bam even was on the show is because he has to in order for them to keep the contracts. He does not like his mother and father because of the way that they treat Allison,” the insider said. As for Gabe, he and his new bride, Raquell Pantilla, have stayed close, but they’re also in their own apartment. The insider claims that Billy and Ami pushed them out of the family home once they tied the knot in a shotgun wedding. According to the source, Raquell is expecting. Seems like this family keeps growing — and growing apart, too.
