A trip down memory lane. OutDaughtered star Danielle Busby took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 16, to share several photos in front of Notre Dame following the devastating fire.

“So beautiful … so sad 💔,” the 34-year-old captioned a series of undated pics. She added the hashtags “#notredame” and “#memories.”

Several fans quickly chimed in with experiences of their own. “I have memories of watching schoolchildren running around the front while I wrote on my journal,” one commenter wrote. “Such a sad thing to happen to this iconic & historic French landmark.” Another added, “I see you are on the bridge of love. Did you leave a lock? I agree how heartbreaking yesterday [was] watching that beauty and history slipping away. I had the privilege as well to tour that cathedral.”

A major fire erupted at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on Monday, April 15. According to CBS News, French authorities are still trying to piece together exactly what happened before the blaze, which officials believe was an accident. About 50 investigators are currently involved in the case and have started questioning 30 employees from different companies, including those who were involved in the cathedral’s restoration work. Officials do not suspect terrorism or arson.

Since then, countless celebrities have taken to social media to share their heartbreak. Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder wrote, “I’m on a plane right now, feeling such an extraordinarily extreme sense of sadness. This photo was from the first time I visited Notre Dame as an adult. I hesitated to even post this photo since I look like an asshole IG influencer, but I have had a deep love for Paris, and Notre Dame is the heart of this city,” the 30-year-old said on April 15. “Every time I’ve walked inside, I’ve felt like I was a part of history and my heart is fully breaking knowing that this monumental cathedral is being torn apart. We are so lucky to be able to preserve history whether it be art, architecture etc. Appreciate history when you have the chance, you never know what can happen. I want to ramble more, but I’m going to stop myself. #notredame.”

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner shared, “This is just so devastating. My heart goes out to Paris. We grieve for you and pray that in time you can rebuild. Thanks to the brave firefighters who have worked so hard, risking their lives, to save the cathedral. 💔 #Paris #NotreDame.”
