Watch out, John David Duggar, your fiancé is famous! And no, we’re not just saying that because she stars on Counting On. The 26-year-old — who got engaged to her man in July — is front and center on the Institute in Basic Life Principles website with her family. Of course, depending on who you ask, this may or may not be a major accomplishment. After all, IBLP is widely controversial.

All the kids in the Duggar household are homeschooled using the ATI curriculum, created by IBLP, and they’re both considered controversial for many reasons. Its founder, Bill Gothard, was accused of allegedly sexually assaulting more than 30 women back in 2014. And many former members who grew up affiliated with the program, much like the Duggars, have spoken out against the organization, accusing it of silencing sexual abuse victims, brainwashing, and being cult-like.

In fact, the famous family’s cousin, Amy Duggar, recently denounced its teachings. “I have to be honest, and true to myself by tweeting this,” she tweeted back in March. “I do not support Bill Gothard and the Institute of Biblical [sic] Life Principles in any way, shape, or form. I find his ‘teachings’ extremely questionable. I am a Christian. I believe in God’s good Grace and freedom to be ourselves! God gave us emotions, personalities, and He wants us to live our best life. Legalism is the opposite of what my Bible teaches.”

Like most Duggars, John and Abbie had a whirlwind courtship. After just one month — yes, you read that correctly — JD got down on one knee and popped the question. “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of John-David and Abbie!” the Duggars wrote in a statement on their blog. “They are a wonderful match and make a beautiful couple! Abbie is a lovely young woman, full of tenderness and compassion. She has a deep love for the Lord and we are so delighted that John-David has asked her to be his wife! We love weddings in this family and can’t wait for this next one!”

Rumor has it that the duo will walk down the aisle in just a few weeks. According to the anti-Duggar Facebook page, Duggar Family News: Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray, John and Abbie will be “married the first weekend of November” — Nov. 3, to be exact — and “not in Arkansas.” Perhaps the nuptials will be held in Abbie’s hometown in Oklahoma?

While we don’t know all the details just yet, one thing’s for sure: These two look so in love! Congrats to the happy couple. And congrats on your, uh, accomplishment, Abbie.
