She may look perfect, but Anfisa Nava‘s life still comes with plenty of strife. But we’re not just talking about what it’s like to have her husband, Jorge Nava, away while he’s serving his prison sentence. Aside from there, there are still the small day-to-day things that can seem totally overwhelming sometimes. But the former 90 Day Fiancé star has decided she’s not going to let the imperfections in her life bother her. In a new, candid post, she’s opening up to her fans about coming to terms with the tough things in life. Check out the gallery below to see how Anfisa came to realize that “it’s ok to not be ok.”

90 Day Fiance Anfisa Nava Is Struggling It's Ok to Not Be Ok

Anfisa wanted a fresh start.

The star went through a lot in 2018, including finally quitting 90 Day Fiancé. “We are done,” she told a fan on Instagram who asked whether she and Jorge would continue filming.

But the show wanted them back.

When the show renewed their contracts without their consent, Anfisa let her cat tear up the paperwork. She decided she wanted her career to go in a different direction.

She’s focusing on her new passion.

Now, Anfisa is all about fitness. “What I enjoy the most … was working out,” she shared in December 2018. She was even setting goals for herself. “One day I want to take it on a higher level and compete in NPC bikini division.”

She was already fit.

But since she started pursuing her passion, her body transformation has been impressive AF. And though fans have accused her of photoshop, she’s assured everyone that her gains and losses are all real and the result of hard work.

But that doesn’t mean she’s always confident.

Like anyone else, Anfisa has days where she doesn’t feel good about herself or worries about where she’s at in her life. But now, she’s sharing those feelings with fans because she doesn’t want them to keep holding her back.

She posted the message with a cute new selfie.

“I would lie if I said negative comments don’t ever get to me,” the star wrote. “They do. And I feel like lately I’ve been turning from outspoken honest person into somebody else. I’ve been trying to be a people’s pleaser (which I’ve never been before).”

It’s not easy being in the public eye.

“I’ve been feeling anxious in public thinking that everybody is looking at me and judging me,” she continued. “I don’t post much on Instagram and YouTube because I think, ‘Who cares about what I have to say?’ or ‘That’s not something people want to see,’ or ‘I have a pimple/broken nail/(insert another little imperfection) so I won’t make a video because somebody will surely point it out.'”

She’s embracing her flaws.

“As I am writing this out now, it seems funny and stupid but all these thoughts have really been giving me so much anxiety. And it made me so exhausted,” she said. “I’m finally coming to realizing that it can’t be like that anymore and something has to change.”

It’s all a work in progress.

“First step to solving a problem is acknowledging it, right? That’s why I’m sharing all this with you. I sometimes get messages from people saying that they admire how I deal with all the struggles but the truth is, I have my bad days/weeks when I just don’t know what to do.”

She’s baring it all.

“I don’t want to pretend to be perfect and like I got my s–t together when I don’t,” she finished. “Maybe some of you are going through similar struggles and I just wanted to remind you (and myself) that it’s ok to not be ok. ❤️”

We hear you, Anfisa!

And we totally agree. Even for people who aren’t reality stars, insecurities can be crippling — but when we learn like Anfisa has how to accept that somedays won’t be our best, we can move forward from that.

Now, we just need to tune out the haters.

Or, like Anfisa does, fire off the occasional clap back. When body shamers have come for her in the past, she’s had the perfect responses.

She’s not letting anything slow her down.

And the only person she needs to answer to is herself. When her followers wouldn’t stop bugging her about her (lack of) wedding ring, she shut it down. “Whoever asks [about] it again is getting their car keyed,” she joked.

2019 is clearly Anfisa’s year.

And her fans are here to support her. “Sometimes the things that challenge us make us a better & stronger person,” commented one of her followers on the post. “Take care of you first and everything else will fall into place.”

The star got plenty of love.

“You are stronger than you know,” added another. “I don’t understand why people need to be nasty online. I think you should be very proud of everything you have accomplished. I don’t know if I could come to a new country and suddenly be left alone to survive. You’re strong, you’re smart and you’re beautiful.” Well said!
