Drama always goes down at the 90 Day Fiancétell-all specials, but on last night’s 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After reunion, some surprising cast members went at it. While hanging out backstage — a.k.a. before the drama was even scheduled to start — Colt Johnson and Chantel Everett somehow ended up at each other’s throats. Check out the gallery below to get the exclusive details on exactly what went down.
Though a fight did break out, it started out as a casual conversation between Colt, 34, and Pedro Jimeno. The two seemed to be catching up, but after barely exchanging greetings, things took a turn.

Pedro, 27, wanted to know what had gone down between Colt and Larissa and how they’d gotten to the point where they were at. Notably, Pedro and his own wife have had plenty of their own drama and breakup rumors to face, but they’re still together — for now.

When Colt started to get into it, though, Chantel, 27, joined the conversation to ask if he was happier after splitting from Larissa — and that’s when s–t really started to hit the fan.

While waiting to go on stage, all the cast members seemed to just be hanging out. Using his trademark sarcasm, Colt answered Chantel’s question about if he was happier with some serious snark: “Oh, yeah, I’m totally happy. I love going through a divorce. I love going through the stress and drama.”

Almost immediately, both Chantel and Pedro started shouting back, before Pedro finally chimed in, “That’s the way you get happy. Get divorced!” It seemed that was the moment that the fight really broke out.

Though Chantel and Pedro seemed to focus on each other for a minute, with Chantel telling her husband to “shut up” and not even joke about them getting a divorce. As he insisted that he was just “saying the truth,” things quickly turned back to Colt.

“Love is not enough,” Colt lobbied over as the couple argued about divorce. “I’ve learned that the hard way.” That’s when thing ratcheted up a notch as Chantel responded, “Is it not? … Is it because you love your mama more than your ex-wife?”

Though the question was for Colt, we can’t help but think the person she really wanted to ask that was Pedro. In the past, the couple has clashed a lot about Pedro prioritizing his mom and sister over his marriage.

Colt, however, wasn’t having any of it. “I love my mother,” he told Chantel. “I take care of her. I’m the only family that she has. I’ll support her. And I hope to god that, one day, if one of your parents needs you, you’ll do the same. So please shut the f–k up.”

As Chantel insisted that of course she would do the same, Pedro focused on a different issue: “No talk that way to my wife, OK?” he told Colt, and the couple ended up shouting over each other as the fight continued.

Chantel still insisted, however, that Colt’s priorities had been wrong. “When you marry somebody, you’re supposed to leave and cleave to your wife,” she told him. He fired back simply, “Chantel, you don’t know s–t, so keep your mouth shut. How about that?”

The Pedro was the one who eventually pulled Chantel away from the fight so that they could cool off in another room, it seemed that her beef was really with her husband.

Same Old Fight
Though Pedro left his family behind in the Dominican Republic when he moved to the United States to be with Chantel, he’s been trying to bring his mom and sister over ever since.

It’s been the source of a lot of the couple’s fights as it’s clear that Pedro didn’t exactly “leave and cleave” as Chantel clearly believes that he should have. Her family thinks their son-in-law’s close relationship with his sister is so strange, in fact, that they’ve accused her of being his wife.

Pedro’s suggestion that his sister and mother might move in with him and Chantel has been met with nothing but push back, but his financial support of them has also been a source of disagreement.
