How scary! On Friday, November 8, 90 Day Fiancé stars Paul and Karine Staehle returned home to discover that their place had been burglarized. The father took to Instagram to share the news with fans, posting photos of their empty shelves and the debris left behind by the robbers. Though he and his wife assured fans they’re “fine,” they also revealed they’d lost pretty much everything they owned. Check out the gallery below to see what Paul and Karine shared.

Paul, 36, first shared the news with his fans over Instagram Stories, letting his followers in on what had happened to him and his family.

“Our apartment [in Manaus] was robbed,” he wrote in Portuguese. “They took everything of value.”

“They [even] stole Pierre’s bathtub … WTF,” he continued in English, revealing that the thieves stole the small tub where he and Karine, 23, give their their infant son baths.

Evidence

Once the shock started to wear off, Paul took photos to catalog the damage done to the home and what was missing — and just about everything was gone.

Robbed

“I discovered today that our home was severely burglarized in Manaus,” he captioned the photos he shared on Instagram.

“They entered my balcony door and took everything of value,” he told fans. “Even Karine’s stuffed animal collection.”

“My stuff, Pierre’s stuff, Karine’s stuff,” he wrote as he surveyed what had been taken and documented what little remained. “I am devastated.”

Heartbroken

On her Instagram Story, Karine was also processing her emotions over their loss. At first, she simply shared a sad faced emoji, but eventually she opened up further.

“We work together to have everything we have and people take it effortlessly,” she wrote in Portuguese. “But we are fine. [That is] what matters now, and we will work together again to get everything that was taken.”

In a second post, she shared her gratitude for all of the support she and Paul already received from their fans. “Thanks for the positive messages,” she wrote.

Now, the couple will start the long process of putting their lives back together. Luckily, like Karine said, their fans have their backs — and so do their friends and family.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Tiffany Franco sent some well wishes the couple’s way. “I’m so sorry, Paul,” she wrote. “I hope you are all doing okay.”

“So sorry, Paul. You and family [being] OK [is] #1 [the] main thing,” the star’s mom, Mary, commented on the post. “Material things can be replaced.”

The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy they named Pierre, in May. “I’m very happy, very honored and very privileged and I want to make sure I do my absolute best for Pierre,” the father wrote.
