She appreciates the love! 90 Day Fiancé star Kalani proudly breastfed her son Oliver while appearing on the highly anticipated tell-all, and now she’s expressing gratitude to her fans after reading their sweet comments. The TLC star released a statement via Instagram Stories on Jan. 8.

“I’m so thankful for the positive comments and messages about breastfeeding at the tell-all,” Kalani began her message, alongside a darling photo of her and Oliver in the hospital. “This month makes one year of loving and feeding this hungry babe. I’m thankful that you all have been a part of our journey. Keep on keepin’ on breast or bottle feeding mamas!”

Several viewers voiced how proud they were on social media. “This made me so happy to see,” one wrote on Reddit about Kalani feeding her son without a cover on TV. “No one said a word, no one made a scene. So proud of Kalani for handling it all like a boss! Breastfeeding is natural and healthy for the baby and for mom as well. Kuddos to you Kalani.” Another added, “I didn’t even notice she was breastfeeding…it was so natural for her she didn’t even skip a beat.”

On the tell-all, Kalani said that she and Asuelo have been communicating better, but she also noted how there’s been a major change recently. “I still feel upset about being pregnant. It was just bad timing,” the TLC star said. The new mom discovered she was expecting baby No. 2 on the Dec. 16 episode, but the news was bittersweet. Kalani revealed she wasn’t ready to have two kids, as she was also already struggling with how good of a mother she was being to her son, Oliver — and it didn’t take long for her to get concerned about how having another child would impact him.

“A few days ago, we kind of stumbled upon a surprise,” Kalani, 30, said on the episode. “I found out that I’m pregnant. I feel like it’s not good timing right now with his papers and the next round of papers we have to do and planning a wedding and taking care of my son.” Even though the circumstances weren’t ideal for Kalani, her fiancé Asuelo was pretty happy about it. We’re wishing them all the best!
