’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Leida Sets The Record Straight About Her Conspiracy Theory
She’s setting the record straight. For most 90 Day Fiancé cast members, starring in a season of TLC’s hit reality TV series comes with a ton of issues like trolls, unsolicited relationship advice, and exes who come out of the woodwork — and that’s exactly what happened to Leida. She was just introduced during the Season 6 premiere earlier this month, and it didn’t take long for her ex-boyfriend to start spreading lies and rumors about her online. But the Indonesia native isn’t letting her ex ruin her reputation and Leida and her fiancé Eric took to Instagram Live to address the conspiracy theory about her past. Leida made sure to address every single part of the wild claims that her ex-boyfriend, whose name is David, made about her on reddit. In screenshots of the comments obtained by a 90 Day Fiancé fan account, a reddit user with the handle yub_nubs (whom Leida believes is David) made a number of horrific claims about Leida’s past. He claimed that he had an affair with Leida while he was still married to his wife, that she was very much into drag racing and allegedly killed “a couple” of people in Indonesia, including an unborn child, during one of her street races. David also claimed that she had begged him to divorce his wife during their affair.
But, as Leida explained in her video, if the story about her alleged car crash was true then she would have had a criminal record and would not have been allowed to travel to America, which is where she is now with Eric. And while she admitted that she knew David was married while they were in a relationship, she also pulled out the all of the receipts and she debunked David’s claim that she begged him to leave his wife for her.
