’90 Day Fiance’ Alum Abby Says ‘It Was Love at First Sight’ With New Husband Louis: ‘He’s Smart and Kind’
When you know, you know. 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alum Abby St. Germain, now Armi Dubell, is reflecting on the first day she met her hunky husband, Louis Dubell, in an exclusive statement to In Touch on Tuesday, April 21.
“Louis and I met online (of course) on a dating website in November 2018 and he came to Santiago [Dominican Republic] where I was going to university to meet me in December 2018. It was really love at first sight,” she exclusively tells In Touch.
The former TLC star — who was introduced to fans on season 1 — says she had an instant attraction to her beau and his qualities were just as admirable.
“He was much more handsome in real life,” the TV personality gushes. “Louis is smart and kind and anyone would be lucky to have him as their partner. So we clicked right away and it felt like we’ve known each other our whole life.”
The Haiti native says Louis really impressed her when they celebrated her birthday in March 2019. During his trip to visit, he got down on one knee to pop the question and asked someone to record the special moment. The stunner describes it as “the best birthday gift,” especially because he got to meet her mother and older brother.
“They love him (what’s not to love? Look at the man!),” she tells In Touch.
After his heartwarming proposal, the dynamic duo started and completed her visa process before getting married in the United Kingdom on March 12, 2020. The 23-year-old later took to social media to express how honored she is to be his wife.
“I said ‘I do’ to my best friend. I’m very blessed to have Louis in my life,” the newlywed wrote at the time. “I’m so grateful to him for having given me a chance when probably nobody else would because of my past mistakes.” She also raved over how “unconditional” his love is, saying he makes her feel supported every day of their lives.
Louis also revealed his beautiful bride “ticks every single box and more” in his post on social media.
We couldn’t be happier for them!
