’90 Day Fiancé’ Alum Fernanda Slams Jonathan’s GF: ‘You Don’t Respect Yourself as a Woman’

One person asked if Jonathan contacted her after she posted her initial “My Truth” video, where she broke her silence about their split. “No he didn’t. We don’t have contact at all,” Fernanda said.

Respecting Their Wishes

The reality star admitted that his family did reach out and asked her to remove their photo from her video. Fernanda said she happily obliged and reposted a new video without the image. “I totally get it,” she explained.

Moving On

When it comes to her thoughts on Jonathan’s new relationship, the TLC alum said she doesn’t “really have an opinion.” However, she was surprised that a woman would be “with a married man.”

Fizzled Relationship

“He said that he signed the divorce papers. Lie,” Fernanda alleged. “He just filed for divorce and I just got the paperwork last week,” she continued.

Not Holding Back

Fernanda asked, “How you don’t respect yourself as a woman?” The reality star added, “Divorce first and then, well see, right?”

Speaking Her Mind

She noted how “some people just go right away to relationships to feel good with themselves and say ‘look how happy I am.’ Other people heal by themselves, deal with the pain … and then move on.”

Behind the Decision

Fernanda also revealed why she didn’t go on the show to reveal her thoughts after things ended with Jonathan. “The producers reached out to me when we separated,” she said, noting how they also got in contact with Jonathan to hear his side of the story.

Reason Revealed

“He answered them. He talked to them. He filmed with them. He [sold] his part of the story to them,” Fernanda claimed. “The reason why I didn’t is because I got zero from the show. I got no money from it. He did and I felt like that was really, really unfair because I came here without money.”

The Next Chapter

Fernanda also mentioned how she didn’t want to deal with the drama. “I didn’t want to be part of that anymore,” she confessed.

Looking Ahead

As far as how she dealt with her post-split anxiety, Fernanda said that she turned to therapy. The TLC alum also admitted that she relied on her faith to help her stay strong.

Finding Happiness

Another update: the reality star said she “loves” living in Chicago, adding how there’s been so many new opportunities. “It’s really, really good and I’m happy,” Fernanda shared.

Fernanda previously opened up about her tumultuous split with Jonathan in an emotional and explosive YouTube video called “My Truth” posted on June 20. He later denied her shocking claims.

Calling It Quits

Earlier this year, Jonathan shared his opinion on why their relationship ended during an interview with In Touch. “I gave it everything I had. I think that was very apparent in the show. None of that was edited, that was my heartfelt feelings,” Jonathan said.

New Romance

“You know you can only give so much until you start giving yourself away … What I’m saying is, I guess there was a point where I realized it was never going to be enough,” he added.

Jonathan went public with his new girlfriend in May, and it looks like they are still going strong to this day. He recently posted a PDA snap with her captioned, “I love to make you smile. Your happiness adds to mine. Everything I give, I get back.”
