Jaclyn Roth

Summary

Jaclyn Roth has wanted to become a magazine writer for as long as she can remember. As a digital writer and producer at In Touch Weekly, Jaclyn loves everything and anything having to do with pop culture, but is especially passionate about The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, Riverdale, Taylor Swift, Hilary Duff and Zac Efron. If she were offered the Final Rose tomorrow, she’d take it in a heartbeat.

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Jaclyn started working for In Touch in October 2018. She tends to write 30 news stories a week, at the very least, about everything from Jersey Shore to The Bachelor and is known to keep up with the Kardashians. Additionally, she covers awards shows and loves a good evergreen fashion gallery, especially if she can get ideas for her own wardrobe from it.

Jaclyn also interviews celebrities on-camera for Life & Style and loves getting them to open up about their newest projects or passions. Some of her favorite interviews have been with Joey Fatone, Madelaine Petsch and Barbara Palvin.

Education

Jaclyn was a magazine journalism major at Syracuse University. (Go Orange!) She is a proud 2012 graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She honed her journalistic skills as features editor of the on-campus magazine, Equal Time Magazine.

Work history

Jaclyn started working on the print side of In Touch and Life & Style as a reporter in March 2014. She spent most of those years on every red carpet she could step foot on, interviewing various celebrities including Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore, 98 Degrees, and many more.

Jaclyn attended the Met Gala red carpet in 2017 and 2018 and will never forget seeing some of her favorite celebrities in the flesh. Fun fact: She called out to Jimmy Fallon and he came over to chat with her on the steps of the museum; that moment still stands out as a highlight of her ongoing career. Oh, and Ashlee Simpson (one of her absolute favorite singers growing up) remembered her face after only meeting her a few months beforehand when they ran into each other at an event. No big deal.
