This story might sound all too familiar for Duggar fans. On Nov. 26, 2018, Caleb Williams, a family friend of the Duggars who was once rumored to be romantically linked to Jana, was arrested on two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Illinois, according to court documents obtained by In TouchWatch the video above to get the details and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Caleb, who is 26 years old, allegedly committed two Class 2 felonies, including penetrating a minor that was older than 13, but younger than 17, and who he was at least five years older than. The first crime allegedly took place between May 29, 2015 and Aug. 1, 2016, while the second was alleged to have happened between Aug. 1, 2016, and May 31, 2018 in Logan County, IL.

According to court documents, Caleb was released on bond put up by his mother Dawn Williams, who signed the paperwork. Caleb is also the son of Jeffrey Williams and has an older brother Josh and three younger siblings, Danielle, Jonathan, and Moriah. It is unclear whether Caleb is related to the minor or minors he is accused of assaulting.

Duggar fans will remember Caleb as the man Jana was linked to in late 2017. Though Caleb later squashed courting rumors, he was seen on several outings with the family around September through November, leading fans to believe that he was being matched up with Jana. We can only imagine how horrified she would be by the charges, especially after dealing with her brother Josh’s own sexual assault scandal.

In 2015, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar revealed to Fox News that their oldest son Josh Duggar, who allegedly works with Caleb, had inappropriately touched four of his siblings and one babysitter while they were sleeping, both over and under their clothing. Jill and Jessa identified themselves as two of the victims and begged for people to forgive Josh, because they wouldn’t have even know that it happened had he not confessed to their parents. It is unclear how Caleb’s case came to light, but the story sounds all too familiar.
