#Twinning! Fans Think Josie Duggar Looks Just Like Joy In New Pic From Central America
Think she’s ready to follow in her big sister’s tomboy footsteps? In a new photo from their trip to Honduras in Central America, Duggar family fans are gushing over how grown up Josie, the youngest of the 19 kids, looks. But they’re not just remarking on how big she’s gotten over the years; they’re also pointing out that she looks a lot like one of her older sisters. Just days after Jana and Michelle were spotted twinning, fans are noticing a major resemblance between Josie and Joy-Anna Duggar — and it’s all just too cute.
“Josie made some new friends!” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar captioned the photo, and it wasn’t long before comments pointing out the similarities started flooding in. “Wow! Talk about a mini Joy-Anna!!” wrote one fan. “Lovely!!” Another commented, “Looks so much like Joy in this one ❤️.” And the responses just kept coming. “I can’t believe how much she looks like Joy 💕,” added a third, while a fourth called her “little Joy Joy!”
We can kind of see what they mean! The cheeks and eyebrows especially, though of course Josie is a lot blonder than pretty much any other member of her family. And if she swapped out those sandals for pants and hiking books like Joy, it would be even more evident. It’s clear to anyone, though, that Josie is growing up fast — and that she’s an adorable little girl. It was only a week ago that the family was celebrating her ninth birthday and celebrating what a miracle it is that she’s grown up to be so happy and healthy.
“Josie was born on December 10, 2009 at 25 1/2 weeks gestation and weighed 1 pound 6 ounces,” the Duggars shared on Instagram. “Today is a huge milestone for her, she is a healthy, happy 9 year old that is full of energy. We are so thankful for everyone’s prayers and all of the doctors and nurses at Arkansas Children’s Hospital that saved her life. That was the most difficult time in our family’s life, but by God’s grace Josie and our whole family made it through!”
We can’t wait to see how she continues to grow — and whether she’ll still be Joy’s little twin as she gets older.
