She’s coming clean. In February, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans sparked split rumors after she wrote she was “Single AF” on Facebook while her husband, David Eason, changed his relationship status to “single.” In a new episode that aired on Monday, April 29, the brunette beauty revealed what actually happened between the pair. First, the 27-year-old uploaded a new Facebook profile picture with the caption: “Single AF.” Shortly afterward, she changed her relationship status to “separated.”

The mom of three also posted two very cryptic Facebook updates at the time. “Someone change my mood,” she wrote on social media along with a broken heart emoji. The TV personality also shared she was listening to Kesha’a song “Learn To Let Go,” which is about moving on from a painful event.

Meanwhile, David changed his Facebook status to “single.” The couple even unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Mother-Son Bonding Time
After months of speculation, the North Carolina native discussed what went down with her hubby. Jenelle told her mom, Barbara Evans, she wanted to spend time with her oldest son, Jace, 9, by going on a trip with him to Kentucky.

“I mentioned it to him, and I said, ‘You know, it would just be me and you,’ and he was like, ‘Really?’” she told her mom. “You know, I think it’s important for Jace to go on a trip one-on-one with me. I want him to have something that’s his thing that we’re doing and not have me telling Kaiser to stop every five minutes or me having to pick up Ensley every five minutes or change her diaper or whatever. I want my attention to be on him.”

Barbara asked if David knew about the upcoming trip, and Jenelle explained she hadn’t told him yet. She said she would tell him the plans just came up.

Sticky Situation
“I was really excited about my trip to Kentucky with Jace, but I decided to talk to David about it, and he wants to come too because he has family there,” she divulged. “But MTV won’t film if he’s around. I’m in a really uncomfortable position, and it’s putting a strain on my marriage.”

Causing Trouble
The TV network cut ties with David, 30, ever since he tweeted some controversial comments about the LGBTQ community in February 2018. Since then, producers were told to stop recording if he ever made an appearance during one of Jenelle’s scenes.

One person who was not pleased by the whole ordeal was Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith. “She needs to grow up,” he told his barber. “I think the drama’s getting worse because of who she’s with. She doesn’t understand he’s doing nothing to promote her image.”

He continued, “I think she’s going to have to hit rock bottom before she gets herself help.”

Repeat Offender
This isn’t the first time Jenelle has fueled breakup rumors, either. In November 2018, Jenelle and David unfollowed each other on Instagram and unfriended each other on Facebook. Less than two weeks later, she addressed the rumors. “LMFAO Married couples have disagreements but that doesn’t mean they are ‘splitting up.’ #RUMORS,” she wrote at the time.

Moving Forward
Fortunately, it seems like the pair is doing OK since the incident. On Saturday, April 13, Jenelle underwent a tubal ligation procedure to get her tubes tied, according to Us Weekly. David shared a photo of his girl sitting in a wheelchair outside of what seemed to be a hospital or health clinic.

“Got my babe a get well soon gift to encourage her to get back on her feet!” he captioned the sweet snap. “It sucks you had to go through this, but at least we got some answers, and you should be all better in no time! I love you so much!”

Family Forever
Jenelle also posted a cute picture with her daughter, Ensley, and David and mentioned how much her crew means to her. “#Family. After this stressful reunion, I’ve been put through the ringer,” she wrote on Instagram on April 7. “To trust an entire group of people for years, then they turn their back on you and treat you like a puppet is beyond words.”

She added, “Family is everything. I need to make it through my hard times, and I am truly #blessed for what I have today. Didn’t take many pictures but super happy my mom was there by my side to defend everything.
