We all know that Tristan Thompson has had a tumultuous relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family, but on Wednesday, September 11, Kim Kardashian was spotted having dinner with the scorned baby daddy.

Among Kim’s other dinner guests were best friend Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huck and Lala Anthony. The KKW beauty mogul rocked a skimpy halter top and black leather pants at New York hot spot Estiatorio Milos to meet little sis Khloé’s ex-boyfriend. A camera crew hovered around the table waiting to catch any drama worth for KUWTK.

“Tristan showed up about halfway through the dinner. He joined the table and stayed until they were all done,” an eyewitness told Radar Online. Despite their history, the source added that the two appeared to be cordial. “He was laughing and joking with everyone and it wasn’t awkward looking at all. Khloé wasn’t there, but the cameras filmed it. Tristan and Kim talked all night, and he joked around with Jonathan,” the source added, “Everyone looked like they were having fun.”

It looks like Kim’s relationship with the NBA player is on the mend. Back on September 9, Kim praised the athlete on Twitter. “Tristan is a really great dad,” she wrote during the season 17 premiere of KUWTK. Kim previously took a much different tone with her sister Khloé Kardashian’s former flame. “Like I don’t even know how to describe it besides, it’s just so f–ked up.” Kim said to Ellen DeGeneres in April 2018 when Tristan allegedly cheated on the Good American Designer when she was 9 months pregnant.

An insider told In Touch that “Tristan’s pissed at Kim and really wishes she and the rest of their family will mind their own business and keep his name out of their mouths,” the insider said, adding, “He feels Kim’s making it worse for Khloé and True by going on Ellen and who knows who else and talking about their problems.”

Although Khloé and the Tristan reconciled after his first moment of weakness, he still hasn’t been forgiven for his rendezvous with Jordyn Woods back in February. “I have so many raw emotions toward Tristan. I’m just healing and processing and going through the motions, I guess,” she said on her show. Even though there still might be beef between the exes, it looks like big sister Kim has stepped in to mediate the situation.
