Tori Roloff Posts, Then Deletes a Video of Her Son After Telling Him to “Stop Growing!”

This is the last person we’d expect to be caught in this kind of controversy…

Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff has seemingly come under fire after posting a video of her one-month-old son Jackson rolling around and playing. While the video itself is pretty innocuous, people were understandably offended by her caption, in which she urges her son — who who has dwarfism — to “stop growing.”

“It’s a big deal. It is scary. No parent wants to hear that their child is different, no matter what,” Tori explained on an episode of LPBW. “I think as a parent, it would be scary. If you didn’t know anything about dwarfism and you found your child was a dwarf, that would be scary. There are certain things that come along with having an achondroplasia child that would be more difficult than having a child that was average height.”

When Jackson was born with achondroplasia — the same form of dwarfism as his father, 27 — Zach knew he was ready for any challenges that came Jackson’s way.
