What’s Wrong With Zach Roloff? Get the Low Down on His Health Issues

So, what exactly is wrong with Zach Roloff?!

For years, Little People, Big World fans have watched as the 27-year-old new dad has faced countless health issues — from leg straightening surgeries, to ear infections, the reality star (and new dad!) has pretty much seen it all. But most recently, he’s faced issues with debilitating headaches, which he likened to “being on his deathbed.”

His mom, Amy Roloff, has explained that she thinks that his headaches may be related to his shunt — but what exactly is a shunt?

According to Healthline, a shunt is a “medical device that relieves pressure on the brain caused by fluid accumulation.” As Amy explained on a previous episode of LPBW, “If the shunt fails, it can be life-threatening.”

To Zach, the pain sure felt life-threatening. As he explained, “Something’s wrong here. I don’t know what it is, but it’s something. It’s like I’m on my deathbed.”

On tonight’s episode, Tori’s husband finally gets the answer he’s been searching for — and, thankfully, it’s not the shunt, rather he’s diagnosed with anxiety, which is understandable considering all the many, many changes Zach and Tori have been experiencing lately!

In recent months, they not only lost their beloved dog, but also welcomed their firstborn, Jackson Kyle.

Hopefully Zach is getting a little rest and relaxation and has been feeling better!
