‘TMOG’ Star Maci Bookout Blasts MTV for Inaccurate Portrayal on the Show: Asks for ‘Real Life’ to Be Shown

“MTV doesn’t want to talk about faith, show work ethic, or juggling three kids alone, they don’t want to show the humble process of starting over after a divorce, building a career, or any real life issues,” she wrote.

“All they want with my little segment each week is some fake fill-in Farrah Abraham/Jerry Springer BS, and it’s simply not true,” the Alaska-native continued.

The Next Chapter

Bristol had been fueling rumors that she was ready to walk away from the franchise, and addressed the speculation on April 1. The reality star shared a statement via social media, revealing why she apparently decided to drop the gig.

“Teen Mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace … and honestly, my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford,” the mother-of-three explained in her post.

Despite her decision to walk away, Bristol said she has nothing but respect for her fellow costars. “I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors,” the brunette beauty concluded.

On Thursday, June 20, Kailyn Lowry also discussed how she felt about her portrayal on the show while responding to assumptions about herself in a candid YouTube video.

When a fan asked if she “hates” MTV, Kailyn said that’s not the case. “I’m thankful for the opportunity. Sometimes, just like in any other job, you get frustrated with where you are at.”
