‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Bristol Palin Says She’s Quitting Show: ‘I Don’t Entertain BS’

Bristol, 28, first joined the cast of TMOG last summer after Farrah Abraham was fired. Now, she’s ready to embark on new adventures … that don’t cause her so much stress.

“Teen Mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace … and honestly, my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford,” the MTV alum began her statement on April 1.

The mother-of-three explained how the financial gain hasn’t been enough of an incentive to make her stay. Bristol is ready to focus on more important aspects of life.

“$ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain BS, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction,” she continued.

Bristol also gave a shout-out to her former costars and proved she has no bad feelings toward them. “I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors,” the brunette beauty concluded.

Several fans were sounding off in the comment section of her post, asking if she was quitting as an April Fools’ Joke. However, it looks like that may not be the case. “Lol shoot people are going to think – but 100% not a joke HA,” she responded to a skeptical fan.

“I love that when you say you’re done, you’re done … unlike the majority of the other cast members who continually make threats,” one fan chimed in.

Another sweetly added, “You’re too real for them. They didn’t like that. They wanted your drama but you ain’t about that life.”

The reality star has been very open about her frustrations when it comes to her portrayal on the hit TV show, previously slamming MTV for “inaccuracies and false narratives.”

In December, she fired back. “No matter how bad [Teen Mom OG] tries to portray my ‘life’ my babies, my family, my close friends — they know the TRUTH,” Bristol wrote.

She continued her passionate statement, “I’m a pretty great mom, work my ass off, show up, and hustle everyday to give my kids a pretty great life.”

Bristol fueled rumors that she’s quitting the MTV gig during a candid Instagram Q&A. When one person asked if she was going to have a future on the show, she nodded “no.”

She also set the record straight while responding to another similar question asking how she felt about reality TV “as a career.” The star answered, “100% not my career.”

Now, Bristol is excited about spending even more time with her children, Tripp, Sailor and Atlee. Based on her statement, it looks like she’ll be embracing this next chapter of her life.
