‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Maci Bookout Wants to ‘Punch’ Ex Ryan Edwards After Arrest

As a mother-of-three, Maci, 27, only wants the best for her children and she’s worried that Ryan’s actions will leave a lasting impact their 10-year-old son, Bentley.

Ryan, 31, was previously arrested on heroin and theft charges in January 2019 and the drama plays out on the upcoming episode of Teen Mom OG airing on June 10.

“Imagine how hard it would be to tell you’re f–king child that,” the reality star says. “Nobody wants to do that.”

Maci reveals how disappointed she is with Ryan, noting how their son is getting older. “Bentley is not four anymore,” she adds. “He understands.”

Setting an Example

“It’s natural to forget, forgive, move on, especially when it comes to your parents,” the MTV alum explains. “I am angry for him because he’s a child.”

Venting Her Frustrations

Maci addresses how she’s not one to be messed with, especially when it comes to her children. “If you thought I’d bite your head off for me, then you have no idea what I will do for my son,” she continues. 

Plagued With Worries

The reality star is angry because Ryan’s mistakes could effect Bentley in the long run. When Maci’s friend tries to comfort her, the mother-of-three admits that she struggles with the idea of forgiving her ex.

Animosity Revealed

“Probably until the day I die, I’ll still want to punch Ryan in the f–king throat,” Maci confesses. 

Struggling With Sobriety

Ryan was released from behind bars on April 15, 2019 and his latest stint in jail came weeks after he completed rehab for a heroin addiction.

Stepping Up

Despite everything that happened, his wife, Mackenzie Edwards (née Standifer), 22, held down the fort and took care of the kids in his absence.

New Addition

Mackenzie even gave birth to their son, Jagger, in October 2018, while he was away seeking treatment.

Giving an Update

So, do Maci and Mackenzie get along? “We don’t really have a relationship. It’s not negative. It’s not a bad relationship, there’s just really not one,” Maci told UsWeekly during a new interview on May 31.

No Contact

As far as her contact with Ryan goes, Maci revealed that she hasn’t spoken to him since he was released from jail in April.

Proud Moms

Aside from Bentley, Maci has a daughter named Jayde, 3, and a younger son, Maverick, 2, shared with husband Taylor McKinney, 30.

On the other hand, Mackenzie has a son named Hudson, 4, from a previous relationship, in addition to Jagger, shared with Ryan.
