Despite their rocky past, it’s all love. Bristol Palin and her ex-husband, Dakota Meyer, haven’t always been on the best of terms over the course of their relationship, but now she’s happy to report they’re in a much better place. Bristol and Dakota took the kids to see Santa Claus over the weekend, enjoying some quality time with their daughters Sailor, 2, Atlee, 1, and her son Tripp, 9, shared with ex Levi Johnston.

After their joyous meet-up, the mother-of-three went on Instagram to do a Q&A with her fans. When one asked if the pair was getting along better for the sake of the kids, Bristol opened up.

“We have made incredible strides the last several weeks, super grateful, it’s been amazing,” the 28-year-old proudly revealed. Viewers know they’ve had no shortage of drama over the last few years.

A Rocky Past

Bristol and Dakota called off their first planned nuptials in May 2015 and eventually got back together, tying the knot just over a year later in June 2016, however their wedded bliss soon came to an end.

Things Are Looking Up!

Dakota, 30, filed for divorce in February of this year, but it looks like things worked out for the best. He claimed they’re getting along swimmingly in a new update shared on Dec. 4.

Great News!

The father revealed last week that his co-parenting relationship with Bristol is the “best its ever been.” To make things easy, Atlee and Sailor rotate between their separate Texas homes each week.

“We’ve been working back and forth,” Dakota said in a video posted to his YouTube channel, before giving his ex props. “When I need to go do something, Bristol helps with the kids.”
