Bristol Palin’s Ex Dakota Meyer Calls ‘TMOG’ ‘Trailer Trash’: I’ll ‘Show You What Single Parenting Looks Like’
This is getting ugly! Bristol Palin‘s ex Dakota Meyer called Teen Mom OG “trailer trash” on Instagram, and said, “it’s time to call it what it is.” He wrote in a tweet that he screenshot and put on his Instagram account that the show is just a “trailer trash Real Housewives,” so he somehow managed to insult another reality show at the same time, in the same post.
Dakota’s tweet in its entirety read, “What’s sad is that @Viacom has turned @TeenMom into a trailer trash Real Housewives instead of showing what the true struggles of parenting are. I’ll bring my VLOG back and show you what single parenting looks like since they can’t seem to figure it out.” Those are fighting words! On Instagram, he captioned the photo in part, “parenting is way more than everyone sitting around bitching about their ex’s.” Yikes.
Dakota has, frankly, not exactly been a ball of sunshine when it comes to his ex and Teen Mom in general as of late. In a previous Instagram Live video, he talked about how his mental health has improved since Bristol — whom he shares daughters Sailor and Atlee with — moved out and said, “When you get rid of the cancer in your life, you can go live.” Which is…harsh, to say the least.
And in an episode of Teen Mom OG, Dakota revealed that in the midst of the couple’s separation, he was “the most relieved” and had “the least amount of stress, like, what someone would feel like if they got out of a life-sentence prison.” Ouch.
But apparently, not only is he not impressed with his ex to the point that he compared her to cancer, but Dakota also isn’t impressed with the reality TV show that once featured them both. Only time will tell whether Dakota feels moved enough by his displeasure with the MTV series to turn to video blogging to get the “true” story out there. We’ll be waiting!
