Time flies! It’s hard to believe that Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood‘s daughter Leah is going to be 10 years old on Nov. 12, and her proud mama celebrated her little boo boo’s milestone age a little early. On Saturday, Nov. 10, Amber took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to Leah ahead of her 10th birthday.

“Happy Birthday my beautiful Leah!! I can’t believe she’s already 10 years old. I love you booboo and can’t wait to see you today#HappyBirthdayLeah,” Amber, 28, wrote in the caption of an adorable throwback of Leah when she was a baby.

Fans flooded the comments wishing Leah a happy birthday, and they could not believe that a decade has already passed since they’ve been following Amber’s story.

“Awwwww happy birthday Leah. It’s been fun watching you grow,” one fan wrote, while another commented. “10?!?! OMG that went by so fast. I remember watching her be born on the show and now she is a beautiful 10 year old. Congratulations momma on having a wonderful girl who will continue growing and do wonderful things in this world someday.”

Fans also could not believe how much Amber has grown since viewers were first introduced to her on her episode of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. Amber’s story has been a wild ride full of really high highs and really low lows, and Amber has not been shy about sharing every aspect of her life with her fans.

Amber’s rocky past was documented on the earlier seasons of Teen Mom OG (back when it was just called Teen Mom) and cameras captured the worst moments: from her drug use to her domestic violence issues with Leah’s dad, Gary Shirley.

Cameras stopped rolling briefly while Amber did jail time for drug possession charges back in 2012, but she only served 16 months of her five-year prison sentence and was released the following year. Since returning to Teen Mom OG, she’s used her platform to bring awareness to substance abuse and mental health issues. Now, Amber continues to share her life and things are looking up for her — she has a good co-parenting relationship with Gary and his wife Kristina Anderson, and she also shares six-month-old son James with her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Glennon.
