“Trying to navigate my mom back home right now is almost impossible. Roads are flooded everywhere. People are stuck in their towns needing diapers, formula, food, water, etc. I can’t even help because I can’t get to them and our stores are dry of everything,” Jenelle, 26, tweeted.

Only a few days prior, Jenelle asked fans for their support and prayers while revealing how the Category 2 storm devastated Barbara’s home. “Please pray for my mom’s house and everyone else in NC and SC. Fans put the reality star on blast after Jenelle posted a message claiming that she feels “skinnier” due to Hurricane Florence. “But with this storm I’m getting skinner [sic] y’all,” she tweeted on Sept. 19. It looks like felt the heat, because the post has since been deleted. One fan wrote, “Besides her error, it’s an incredibly insensitive thing to say considering people really are in need of food and water.”

Prior to that, the mother-of-three enraged her followers by sharing a throwback photo in a bikini with the edited caption: “Pray for the Carolinas. Our linemen. And first responders.” She made it her profile photo, but not for long…because people were claiming she was posting a “thirst trap” pic at a very bad time.

“I don’t get why everyone’s offended by my profile pic I posted yesterday,” Jenelle defended herself against the nay-sayers who slammed her swimsuit snap. “I’m in the path of the hurricane, that picture is from months ago while fishing, asking for prayers…what is SO bad or disrespectful about that?”

The Teen Mom star also ticked off fans for another photo she posted of her son playing in the rain, as if the storm was no big deal. Jenelle responded to the criticism on Sept. 16, writing: “No s–t, I meant that [What Hurricane] caption as in my children are safe and comfortable. Always taking my words and twist them to make it sound negative.”
