Farrah Abraham’s Daughter Sophia, 8, Posts “Fetish” Video for V-Day — and Fans Are Weirded Out
Another day, another drama for Farrah Abraham! The polarizing Teen Mom OG star’s eight-year-old daughter, Sophia, recently took to Instagram to share a musical.ly video set to Selena Gomez’s “Fetish,” the sexually charged single she released in 2017.
In case you forgot, some of the lyrics to the racy tune include, “You got a fetish for my love / I push you out and you come right back / Don’t see a point in blaming you / If I were you, I’d do me too.” Naturally, the sight of little Sophia lip-synching to these words infuriated many fans who feel as though Farrah should have intervened. See what they said — and watch Sophia’s controversial clip — in the video above.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Farrah’s parenting choices have made fans scratch their heads. Just last year, the My Teenage Dream Ended author, 26, was slammed after she posted a photo with Sophia, in which she raved about Flat Tummy Tea in a clearly sponsored post.
In her caption, she intimated that she allowed her little girl to drink the weight loss drink, which is strictly recommended for adults. “Teatime @flattummytea @sophialabraham and I — after all that candy,” she wrote at the time. After facing backlash, Farrah deleted the photo. Along with her detox tea snafu, Farrah has been criticized for waxing her daughter’s eyebrows and allowing her to pose provocatively in a bikini for modeling photos, among other eyebrow-raising events.
Despite all the hate that has come her way over the years, Farrah insists she’s a great mom. In fact, she is hard at work pushing Sophia’s burgeoning career as a mini fashion and cosmetics mogul, as she exclusively explained to In Touch last year.
“Sophia is not going to continue to be on Teen Mom. Sophia is not going to continue to talk about sex and unplanned pregnancies and all that stuff — so she’ll go on to do something better and hopefully she’ll be doing makeup brands or clothing,” Farrah said of Sophia, who owns the Texas children’s boutique Sophia Laurent. “She’s already in fashion, so that’s more her thing and her life.”
