This is so scary. Meri Brown updated her Instagram followers on the forest fire raging near her home in Flagstaff and revealed that she may have to leave. “I’m on pre-evac notice. Getting all valuables out!” she wrote on her Instagram Story on July 23. “Oh, the stress!” the Sister Wives star added in her next update.

“It’ll be fine! Just fine! But I’m still going to prepare,” Meri, 48, continued. Later, she added another video featuring the sounds of a helicopter flying overhead, similar to the clips she shared on July 21, when she first revealed that the fire was so close to her new home.

Meri shared a series of shots on her Story on July 21, indicating that there was a wildfire near her house and told her fans, “Super efficient and getting lots done today until this forest fire started only about 15 miles from me. Don’t worry, I’m already freaking out … ” She later added footage of a helicopter flying above her property which was captioned, “Days like today I’d rather live in the desert and not the forest.” We can see why!

But what about the rest of the Brown family? Kody Brown and his other wives — Janelle, Christine and Robyn — all moved to Arizona, so why aren’t they updating fans on the current forest fire situation near their home? It was a big deal when the family decided to uproot and move to a new state, and now it seems there’s a chance they could face some serious damage to the land they purchased.

Radar Online reported in February that Meri is renting a house in the Brown family’s new city, which is nine miles from Christine’s three-bedroom, two-bathroom home and is 13 miles from Janelle’s house. So, are they all dealing with possibly evacuating? Is the fire anywhere near Coyote Pass, the land the Sister Wives family ultimately chose for their new home? Fans may have to keep their eyes peeled to Meri’s Instagram to find out.
