Trouble again. Hours after news broke that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested for felony domestic violence, LAPD confirmed to In Touch that the Jersey Shore star has been booked kidnapping. He was arrested during the early hours of October 4 after police officers responded to a domestic battery call. Officers had to use a taser and there was a child at the location. The Jersey Shore star and his partner, Jen Harley, share their 17-month-old daughter, Ariana Sky.

“He hasn’t officially been booked but I can tell you that officers responded to a battery in progress in the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at around 2:40 a.m. Suspect and victim were involved in some kind of physical altercation. When officers on location, the suspect was uncooperative. Officers had to use a taser so there was minor use of force that occurred,” LAPD told In Touch. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has not filed any official criminal charges against Ronnie, but prosecutors have not yet received information from the LAPD concerning the early Friday morning incident.

Luckily, police also confirmed that the child on the premises was “not harmed.”

Ortiz-Magro, 33, and Harley, 32, have had a tumultuous relationship and this is not their first run-in with domestic violence. Back in December, it was reported that the two got in an “explosive” argument that resulted in Harley throwing an ashtray at his head. In Touch confirmed at the time that the on-again, off-again couple was fighting over their previous issues while partying at Hustler Club in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve.

“Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had an argument with her boyfriend at a club prior to her getting home,” a statement from the police department said at the time. “Officers observed that several items in the home were damaged including a television and picture frames. Officers could not locate any forced entry and it is unknown if the victim’s boyfriend is the suspect. This case remains under investigation.”

On May 16, five months after Ortiz-Magro filed a domestic battery report, Harley was arrested in Las Vegas after a warrant was issued from their previous altercation.

At the time, Ortiz-Magro shared a cryptic message on his Instagram Story that seemed to be aimed at the mother of his child. “You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine,” he captioned the post. “Changing is coming.”

Time will tell how this latest arrest will play out for the couple.
