At this point, Jersey Shore fans are probably getting whiplash from trying to keep up with the on-and-off relationship between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 33, and his baby mama Jen Harley. Once again, the duo has reportedly broken up. This time, the final straw seemed to be an explosive fight on New Year’s Eve.

“Ronnie and Jen got into a fight on New Year’s Eve. They broke up before New Year’s Eve, got back together right before then and got in a big fight on Monday night,” a source revealed to Us Weekly on Jan. 2. “They’re currently broken up. But it’s the same story every time: They are together, they fight, they break up and then get back together.”

Fans have seen this time and time again. In the past year, the couple got into a physical altercation on Instagram Stories, got in trouble with police for a fight in Las Vegas, and have posted countless jabs at each other on social media. From the beginning, the relationship has seemed toxic, with Ronnie seemingly cheating on Jen on Jersey Shore. “They fight — a lot. They have a very volatile relationship. It’s either great or the total opposite,” the insider continued.

In the aftermath of the split, Jen seems to be trying to stay positive. She posted a sweet photo with their baby girl Ariana, and wrote, “I cannot believe in 3 months we’re going to be having your first birthday. I love you @ariana_sky_magro.” Ronnie, on the other hand, wiped all of the photos that included Jen on his Instagram and liked some negative comments about her. Clearly, he’s not feeling the whole “new year, new me” thing.

TBH, it’s probably best if these two stop trying to make it work romantically, and focus on raising their sweet baby girl together peacefully. Good luck, guys!
