Sending positive vibes. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino gave his Jersey Shore roommates an update from behind bars. In a sneak peek released on September 4, the 37-year-old sent everyone well wishes, leaving them very emotional.

“Tell Jenni and everybody I miss everybody so much,” Mike echoed on his wife, Lauren Sorrentino’s speakerphone. The crew all rallied together at Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s celebration for his daughter’s first birthday. “I can’t wait to see everybody,” Mike added.

In a private interview, Jenni “JWoww” Farley disclosed how hearing her pal’s voice was bittersweet. “It’s just really nice to hear his voice. I’m trying to keep it together, but hearing his voice I’m just like ugh,” the brunette beauty, 33, said.

“I just wanted to call and say hello, I also wanted to wish Ariana a happy birthday” Mike continued. When Ronnie, 33, had his chance to talk to Mike, he made sure to goof on his good pal and joke about the pizza on the inside — saying that it’s more like a tortilla than pizza. He made sure to send his good energy to the party saying, “Uncle Sitch is sending positive vibes.”

“I’m doing great! I think I will be home a little sooner than later,” the reality star assured everyone. Mike is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York. Dan Wise, a federal prison consultant, told the Asbury Park Press that Mike will be getting out of prison “any day now.”

The Jersey Shore star has remained positive as family and friends have been by his side during this difficult time. He also said that while he has been incarcerated, he is focusing on his health.

“I’ll be in very very very good shape, and The Situation will no longer be under construction!” he said enthusiastically. Lauren, 34, previously told E! News that Mike is “probably gonna come out ripped,” adding, “You know, he’s not gonna be BDS anymore — Big Daddy Sitch — he’s gonna have his, probably, six-pack again. He’s doing good in there.”
