‘RHONJ’ Star Caroline Manzo Claps Back at Hater Who Accuses Her of ‘Shaming Larger Women’
Don’t come for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo! If you’ve watched the hit Bravo show, then you already know she can handle herself in a fight, but one Instagram user had to learn that the hard way. After the reality star shared a joking picture on Wednesday, January 30, the commenter suggested that her joke could be interpreted as trying to “shame” fat women. But when Caroline, 57, saw the comment, she clapped back — and she didn’t take it easy on her follower.
“Just finished dinner – this is a rear view of me leaving the building – I ate everything 😩,” she wrote on Instagram, captioning a picture of a large statue of a woman standing facing away from her. In response, someone wrote, “Nothing wrong with that statue’s figure! Are you shaming larger women?” Caroline, however, wasn’t having any of it. “Stop,” she demanded. “That’s ridiculous. Just. Stop.”
Her fans also weren’t about to let someone insinuate that the star had said anything rude or offensive. “Oh please,” wrote one. “Caroline was joking about herself. Give her a break. It’s sad when a person jokes about herself and someone wants to take it to the next level. What a stupid comment.” Another added, “Seriously, people need to lighten up a bit. There was nothing demeaning or derogatory said by Caroline.” Some even complimented the star, writing, “Caroline, I love your sense of humor!!!! Some people just like to start crap and can’t take humor anymore!”
Of course, we’re sure that the New Jersey native has already moved on. After all, the woman is a Real Housewives star. She knows how to deal with a little drama — and she also knows how to put it behind her when the time is right. By the next day, she was already bundled up inside having fun and cooking with her granddaughter. Now that’s how you settle a fight.
