It’s never too late to say sorry. On January 15, Tamra Judge’s son Ryan Vieth posted a controversial Instagram photo about a transgender family, and the Real Housewives of Orange County star even “liked” the snap. Now, the blonde beauty is addressing her son’s rant and apologizing for the first time via social media. Scroll through the gallery below to get the scoop on what went down.
On January 21, the Bravo personality, 51, wrote a genuine note to her fans. “I’d like to address the many comments regarding my son Ryan’s posts on Instagram,” she said.

“I have been extremely upset my son would post such a thing. A post that I did NOT see because he took it down immediately knowing it was WRONG. Admittedly, I had a concerned ‘mom’ moment when referring to a post about a 5-year-old making life altering decisions. My comment did not come from a place of hate.”

She added, “I’ve encouraged Ryan to make his own amends, but in the meantime, I’m extremely sorry. His words were harsh and unacceptable. I have nothing but love and respect for the LGBTQ community … always have, always will. I will continue 2019 with a renewal of peace, wellness and love for all.”

In the since-deleted post, Ryan wrote, “LET’S BE F—KING REAL, THE WORLD IS F—KED. COMPLETEDLY F—KED. The only thing that kid should be transitioning into is being a 6-year-old. Anything else is abusive brainwashing.”

The California native stirred the pot and wrote a controversial comment underneath Ryan’s post. “Wow, that’s sad. 5-year-old cannot make a decision like that,” she said. However, she deleted the remark before the post was taken down.

Fans were obviously not happy. “If Tamra Judge agrees with this hateful rhetoric, I’m done with OC,” wrote one person on Twitter, while another echoed, “She showed us who she is. Now we know.”

Another follower said, “That was a really hurtful thing to say, Tamra. Why would you want to be the judge of another human being?”
The mom-of-four is very supportive of her children, but was not happy with Ryan this time around. “She freaked out on him,” a source revealed to Radar. “She made him delete everything.”

While Tamra’s words definitely sparked backlash, another source told Us Weekly that she “did not mean to offend.”

The source added, “She does not share the same beliefs as her son. She was commenting on the story itself and felt a 5-year-old might be too young to make those decisions.”

This isn’t the first time Tamra’s son has gotten into trouble, either. In 2015, Ryan was arrested for domestic violence, after he got into a drunken fight with his baby mama.

The mom-of-four has always stood by her son’s side, but in 2015, a source told Radar at the time that she was “devastated and embarrassed by the arrest.” The insider added, “She had to bail Ryan out of jail the day she returned from her belated honeymoon from Greece with hubby Eddie Judge.”

Here’s hoping he gets back on track soon — and issues a formal apology.
