Well, there goes that! At least that’s what Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Bedor’s estranged husband, David Beador, said when he took to court recently to request an order against the RHOC star regarding her drinking habits. Specifically, David is unhappy with Shannon’s potential influence on their children, according to Us Weekly. Needless to say, the couple’s divorce proceedings aren’t exactly going smoothly.

David filed the request for an order at the Superior Court of Orange County on Friday, Dec. 14, and his reasoning isn’t exactly off-base. “The mother has publicly stated on television within the last month, she ‘self-medicates’ with alcohol,” he said of Bravo star, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. “That behavior is detrimental to the children.” David also requested that the Housewife be prohibited from ingesting any alcohol eight hours before spending time with their daughters, Sophia, 16, and Stella and Adeline, 14, or any time during visitation, of course.

The request for a court order comes amid a divorce battle between Shannon and David that includes a face-off over custody of their three daughters. Shannon and David both attended a parental education and mediation hearing on Jan. 4 of this year, according to Radar Online. In court documents obtained by The Blast, Shannon filed for primary physical custody of their girls and she offered joint legal custody of the girls to David, plus visitation.

Shannon filed for divorce on Dec. 5 after 17 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. But RHOC fans know what’s up — Shannon and David’s marriage has been riddled with issues stemming from David’s cheating for a while now, so it makes sense there would be some “irreconcilable differences” there. Back in June 2015, Shannon got real about her husband’s eight-month affair with another woman during Season 10 of the show, but at the time, she was determined to fix her marriage.

Now, it’s clear there’s not much more for the couple to attempt to work out. Aside from their divorce, that is. We hope things go as smoothly as they can for the Beadors.
