Pregnant Amy Duggar Will Have a ‘Pretty Relaxed’ Birthday as She Awaits Baby Dax’s Arrival
She’s enjoying it all! Amy Duggar King’s birthday is September 30, and she exclusively spoke with In Touch about what’s in the works for her special day. “Birthday plans are kinda a wait and see kind of deal, I’m starting the day with an open mind!” the Counting On cousin said. “[Her husband] Dill surprised me with a prenatal massage and then we (hopefully) are going jewelry shopping for a new ring for my right hand of Daxton’s birthstone! Sooo it’s either going to be a sapphire or an opal!” Sounds lovely!
Amy, now 33, continued, “My friends and family will probably all stop by and we might cater pasta in (which is my fav). So I’m thinking a pretty relaxed birthday is going to be perfect this year! I feel so loved by everyone and who knows Daxton would come on birthday!?!?! Either way, we are just counting down the days!” She previously revealed that her due date is October 9, so the little guy really could come any time now.
The 3130 clothing boutique owner previously told In Touch exclusively about the parenting advice she’s received from her Duggar side of the family as she prepares to welcome her first child. “They just told me to love on that baby and take time, just like spending time just bonding with Dax when he’s here. And not rush back to work … skin on skin and that kind of thing,” she said. “I already have these Instagram photos in my head of what I want to do.” Instagram will have to be the main place Counting On fans get updates on Dax’s birth and first few weeks of life because Amy has already confirmed the birth will not be featured on the TLC show.
On her birthday, Amy gushed on Instagram about the baby she’s sure to welcome soon and wrote, “I’m 33 today … and every year I’m just even more amazed at what God has done! What a treasure this baby bump has been to my heart. It has been a difficult year in so many ways. I thought the tears would never stop, but God knew the perfect time to bring you into our lives little guy! From your tiny flutters to your serious intense ninja kicks I have carried you for 39 weeks!! I cannot wait till you are in my arms! What a birthday present you are to me! Even if you do decide to take your sweet little time on arriving! You are a priceless gift from above and I can’t wait to be your mama!” Take your time, little man! (But like, not too much time, because clearly your mom is more than ready to meet you.)
