Bundle of joy! Amy Duggar is currently expecting her first child with husband, Dillon King, and she couldn’t be more thrilled about becoming a mom. The pregnant star spoke to In Touch exclusively at WEtv’s Love After Lockup screening and revealed the best advice she received from her famous cousins — who definitely know a thing or two about parenthood!

“They just told me to love on that baby and take time, just like spending time just bonding with Dax when he’s here. And not rush back to work … skin on skin and that kind of thing,” Amy, 32, told In Touch exclusively. “I already have these Instagram photos in my head of what I want to do.” The couple also opened up about their decision to name their unborn son Daxton Ryan.

“Everybody in my family, on the male side, all start with D’s, so we had to have a D name, so we landed on Daxton. And then Ryan is an Irish name and it means ‘Little King’ and since our last name is King, it just fit really well,” Dillon explained.

As far as their future baby plans go, Amy said, “We’re gonna see how one goes and then we just might adopt a jungle cat.” Dillon later chimed in, “We’re aiming for one and done.”

He added, “Two is max! One may be it, but we will see.”

Amy also said that her pregnancy journey has been pleasant for the most part, noting how it’s been “quite a ride.” The doting daddy to be even revealed that it’s been “easier” than other people described. “I was only sick for 17 weeks, first trimester, I wanted mashed potatoes and hot pockets — which sounds delicious,” she confessed. “Now, it’s like normal. Now, it’s good.”

Interestingly, several of Amy’s family members are also expecting at the moment, including Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren Swanson, John David Duggar’s wife, Abbie, Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna, and Joseph Duggar’s wife, Kendra.

Dax will have plenty of kids to play with in the near future!
