De-stress? Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli Go to Workout Class Together Amid College Admissions Scandal
A united front. Lori Loughlin’s daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Bella Giannulli, were spotted taking a Pilates class on Tuesday, October 1, amid the college admissions scandal. “They arrived right as the class was starting, and Olivia was wearing a black T-shirt and black wide-leg leggings,” a source told Us Weekly. “Bella was wearing a Kappa Kappa Gamma T-shirt and black leggings. They put their mats down themselves and both girls were really strong.”
The YouTuber, 20, and Bella, 21, looked like they were trying to blend in. “During the class, they talked a little to each other and were looking at themselves in the mirror,” the insider added. “At the end of the class, they walked out together and put on Chrome Hearts trucker hats.”
In March, the Full House alum, 55, and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were arrested after they allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,00 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew.” In April, the duo pleaded not guilty to to charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.
Since the scandal broke, Olivia and Bella have barely posted on social media except they both took the time to wish their mom a happy birthday in July. “Happy birthday, mama,” Bella captioned a photo of herself with Loughlin. “I love you.” Olivia, for her part, also posted a throwback snap from when she was a baby with the actress. “One day late. Happy birthday. I love you so much,” she wrote at the time. Since then, Bella has been more active on the ‘Gram.
On October 2, Loughlin was spotted arriving at the Bel Air Country club in Los Angeles, and she looked happy as she stepped out of the car. While Loughlin has been seen around town, Felicity Huffman — who also participated in the college admissions scandal — is set to start her jail sentence. The 56-year-old Desperate Housewives star will be spending 14 days in the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, beginning on October 25. In April, Huffman pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud for paying $15,000 to boost her 19-year-old daughter’s SAT scores. In addition to completing her prison sentence, Huffman will also have to complete 250 hours of community service, pay a $30,000 fine and will be sentenced to one year of probation.
However, it doesn’t sound like the facility is meant for a Hollywood A-lister. Amy Povah — a former inmate who served nine years at the same place — told In Touch exclusively about the conditions and compared the prison to “college dorm living.” She added, “Just imagine four people crammed into a teeny-weeny broom closet that barely fits four beds. Then, there’s a toilet and sink all in that little bitty room … Everybody has a job to do. Nobody gets to escape it, not even Felicity!”
Only time will tell what happens next.
