Trouble in paradise? On Sunday, September 8,  Lori Loughlin was spotted out at church without her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, amid rumors that they’re dealing with problems in their marriage. “Her friends think she should leave him,” an insider told Us Weekly in early September. “But Lori refuses and says the ordeal has made them stronger.”

This solo appearance could suggest that there may be something to the rumors. Plus, a source also told Us Weekly that Loughlin, 55, wishes she took a plea deal when it comes to her alleged crimes in the college admissions scandal, and partially blames her husband for not doing so. “Lori regrets not doing what Felicity [Huffman] did,” the insider claimed. A different source told the outlet, “Lori was inclined to take the deal, but Mossimo said it would ruin both of their careers.”

However, yet another source told Us Weekly on September 9 that there is nothing to the speculation. “Their marriage is not on the rocks. They love each other. They are happy together. They are united,” they claimed.

Loughlin and Giannulli were indicted on March 12 on charges related to a nationwide college admissions scandal. They were arrested after allegedly offering bribes “totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC,” according to documents previously obtained by In Touch.

“Their daughter Bella [Giannulli] is extremely concerned they’re going to get divorced,” a source told Us. When the couple returned to federal court in Boston on August 27 for a hearing on the case, they reportedly fought over whether they should take a private jet. “The couple was advised by their lawyers not to,” the source said. “But Mossimo insisted, saying it would be a ‘zoo’ if they flew commercial.”

The duo faces the possibility of years in prison for their alleged actions. It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise if that is causing a strain on their partnership. Do you think Loughlin and Giannulli are on the outs, or do you think she just wanted to go to church by herself?
