Back together? In the midst of the fallout from her mom, Lori Loughlin‘s, involvement in the college admissions cheating scandal, her daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli split from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Jackson Guthy. But it seems like Olivia, 19, and Jackson, 23, are back on because the singer took to Instagram on Friday, August 2, to share a sweet snap of him sharing a sweet kiss with Olivia.

“Lil monkey 💕I love you,” Jackson wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. As of the time of publication, Olivia did not like or comment on Jackson’s photo.

But fans took to the comments to gush over the couple. “Aww 🥰 you stuck by her thru [sic] a rough time,” one fan commented, and another wrote, “I ship this so much!”

Olivia and Jackson split in May — just two months after her mom and her dad, clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli, were indicted for their alleged involvement in a nationwide college admissions scam. At the time of Olivia and Jackson’s split, sources revealed to Us Weekly that the stress of Olivia’s family being in the public eye in the midst of the scandal was part of the reason for their breakup.

Jackson was “trying to be there for” Olivia in the wake of the scandal, but that the couple “haven’t been spending as much time together [as] they were before,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “[Jackson] has been there for Olivia,” another source added.

“Whether it be the occasional coffee run or just being physically near her, he’s trying to be supportive,” a third insider added. “It hasn’t always been easy, given the crazy amount of spotlight on them right now.”

But in the two months since their split, it seems like they were able to find their way back to each other. Just two days before posting their sweet Instagram kissing photo, Jackson commented on Olivia’s Instagram tribute to her mom for her birthday. “She made an angel! ❤️❤️,” he wrote.
