Awkward? The Instagram model accused of causing Cardi B’s split has worked with the rapper’s longtime rival, Nicki Minaj. Fans are surprised to learn, or just now notice, that Offset’s alleged mistress Summer Bunni appeared in Nicki, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Murda Beatz’s “FEFE” music video, which dropped in July.

This could totally just be a coincidence, but it is an interesting development considering how the tension has been brewing between Cardi, 26, and Nicki, 35, since their highly publicized feud in September. The ladies seemingly called a truce only one month later, but trouble could be brewing yet again. Last week, Nicki dropped the music video for her song “Good Form,” and it happened to feature the two female strip club bartenders, Baddie Gi and Jade, Cardi was accused of ordering an attack on in August. Per the report, Cardi allegedly believed one of the women was involved with her husband, Offset.

Aside from all the drama between Nicki and Cardi, Summer recently spoke out and issued a tearful apology to the new mom, after hearing news of the couple’s split on Dec. 4. Cardi shocked fans by revealing that she and Offset were calling it quits earlier that day, but confirmed she’ll always have love for her ex as the father of their daughter. Summer said she hasn’t hooked up with Offset, 26, since Cardi had their baby, claiming it wasn’t her intention to break up a happy home.

“Good morning, a quick letter to the fans, followers and social media outlets,” the model began. “During the last 48 hours, I haven’t enjoyed the social media frenzy. Not only is it draining but humbling. I will always be woman enough to admit when I’m wrong, and in this situation I was,” Summer continued. “Seeing another woman’s pain does not bring me joy, nor do I think it’s funny. I’ve always been for women supporting each other but in this situation not only myself, but others have failed.”

“I separated myself from certain situations and people for a reason,” Summer concluded her statement via Instagram. “This is not a letter for sympathy but acknowledgement to everyone whom has questions. Going into 2019 focused and dedicated to becoming a better me. Thank y’all — Summer.”
