Tekashi 6ix9ine Somehow Managed To Give His Girlfriend A Rolex On Her Birthday… While Behind Bars
This is…impressive. And a little confusing. Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine reportedly gave his girlfriend a Rolex for her birthday, which is, of course, a great gift! But the kicker is, he is literally in jail right now and still managed to give it to her from his cell, Cosmopolitan reported. Dang, that’s commitment.
The Brooklyn-based rapper has been in and out of court recently, trying to settle several legal issues. Specifically, 6ix9ine was arrested with at least four other men on Nov. 18 by federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) on racketeering and firearms charges, CBS reported. He pled not guilty but is still behind bars, so he reportedly had the jeweler, JimmyBoi hand-deliver it to his girlfriend Jade to acknowledge her 22nd birthday.

Jade posted a photo of herself holding the watch on Twitter, and wrote, “BeSt birthday EVER!! 😬🎉💕 thank you baby 😩🌈 your[sic] the best even when your[sic] not around shout out @jimmyxboi for the drip💧.”
Cosmopolitan reported that Tekashi picked out the $35,000 watch a few weeks ago and had it customized with 24 carats of diamonds. You know, in case a Rolex watch wasn’t already fancy enough. And even though her boyfriend wasn’t able to be there to give it to her personally, Jade really seemed to appreciate the lavish present nonetheless.
But considering the charges the rapper is facing, it might be a while before Jade does see Tekashi in person. And this is far from the first time he’s been in legal trouble. In addition to the racketeering, in October, the performer was sentenced to four years probation in a child sex performance case. Tekashi also previously reached a plea deal in an NYPD officer assault case. But he must still be doing OK monetarily, if he can keep the Rolexes coming like this.
