Miranda Lambert Seemingly Shades Ex Blake Shelton During ACM Performance: ‘I Got the Hell Out of Oklahoma’

Miranda Lambert performed a sassy mix of her best breakup hits during the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards and fans think she may have shaded ex Blake Shelton … who was in attendance at the country awards show! The crooner declared that she was happy to “get the hell out of Oklahoma,” where she once lived with Blake.
The blonde beauty, 35, was famously married to the “Came Here to Forget” singer, 42, for four years before they divorced in July 2015. Blake attended the April 7 award show with his current girlfriend of two years, Gwen Stefani. A source exclusively told InTouch that the couple got up during the commercial break and apparently missed his ex’s performance.
Although Blake wasn’t seen on camera while the songbird was on stage, fans couldn’t help but think Miranda’s energy was directed at her ex. “Litte Red Wagon,” “Mama’s Broken Heart” and “Kerosene” all worked their way into the songbird’s badass mashup.
“Does anyone else think Miranda Lambert is basically telling Blake Shelton she hates him with this mashup at the #ACMAwards or is it just me?” one person questioned on Twitter. Another user added, “Miranda Lambert just sang ‘got the hell out of Oklahoma’ with Blake Shelton in the room and I have so much respect.”
The “Tin Man” singer absolutely killed her performance and viewers praised the subtle shade. “Miranda’s performance was extra sassy and I’m here for it,” someone quipped while another fan agreed, “Miranda Lambert is officially body and sass goals.”
The songstress shocked everyone in February when she announced that she got secretly hitched to NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin. “In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news,” Miranda wrote on Instagram at the time. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for … me. #TheOne.”
The two got very cuddly on the red carpet for their first public appearance during the award show. It looks like her romance with the 27-year-old is the real deal … for now.
