Evan Felker’s Ex-Wife Shocked It Was ‘So Easy’ For Miranda Lambert to Marry Brendan McLoughlin
Singer Miranda Lambert has a complicated relationship past. Things still seem a little murky between her and her ex Evan Felker, and now his ex-wife, Staci Felker, has some thoughts about the country crooner’s recent marriage to Brendan McLoughlin. To say the least, she’s surprised the singer was able to move on so fast.
Staci, 34, kept things completely transparent during an Instagram Q&A when a fan asked how she was able to “hold her tongue” after news of Miranda’s, 35, surprise nuptials broke. “I have had a year’s training of holding my tongue,” Staci admitted on March 6. “I did think the dress was really pretty and I wish she would call me and tell me how it was so easy for her to get over my ex because it hasn’t been so easy for me.”
The two women have a … tense past (obviously). Staci got married in 2016 to Evan, 34, who’s the lead singer of the Turnpike Troubadours. In April 2018, he left her for the “Over You” songstress, who was still dating Anderson East at the time. Sadly, Staci found out that he filed for divorce through a local newspaper. Their split was finalized three months later.
The saga continued in August 2018 when Miranda revealed that she and Evan had broken up. “Love is a hard road sometimes, and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it,” the singer told The Tennessean at the time. “You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”

Although she claimed to be “happily single” six months after they ended things, she shocked everyone by announcing her secret marriage to the NYPD officer, 27, on February 16. “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” Miranda wrote in her Instagram when she dished the big news. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for me.”
