Miley Cyrus Seemingly Shades Exes Liam Hemsworth and Kaitlynn Carter in Message About Love
Even though Miley Cyrus is single again, she’s still surrounded by love from her fur babies! The pop star took to Instagram on Sunday, September 29, to share a message about the unconditional love she receives from her dogs and it seems like she may have been throwing a little bit of shade towards her recent exes — estranged husband, Liam Hemsworth, and ex-girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter.
“happy Sunday from me & 2 stinky dogs! waking up surrounded by animals is my favorite way to start the morning,” Miley, 26, wrote in the caption of a photo of her with two of her dogs, which she posted on her Instagram Story. “I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions … the best part about animals is that they are careless about the details. They live by the golden rule … Love & Be Loved. Nothing in between. No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age, sex … they love back 100X … all they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone 🖖.)”
Miley seems to be enjoying the single life again after she split from Kaitlynn, 31, after about of month of dating, just one week ago. “Miley’s fling with Kaitlynn was just what the doctor ordered after her breakup from Liam,” an insider told In Touch exclusively at the time. “Miley doesn’t burn bridges. They had a blast together and are going to remain friends.”
The “Slide Away” singer moved on with the Hills: New Beginnings star shortly after she split from Liam, 29, after a decade together but only eight months of marriage. News of Liam and Miley’s split broke on August 10, and that same day, photos surfaced of Miley and Kaitlynn kissing while on vacation in Italy with Miley’s sister, Brandi Cyrus.
Just 11 days after their breakup went public, Liam filed for divorce. Insiders exclusively told In Touch that Miley’s antics with Kaitlynn were “straw that broke the camel’s back,” and the photos were what ultimately led him to make the first move. Even though Miley had already moved on at that point, Liam’s decision to begin divorce proceedings upset Miley.
“Miley is shocked and hurt that Liam filed for divorce so quickly,” a source exclusively told In Touch at the time. “While she’s moved on, she expected him to wait so they could both make the decision together. The bottom line is, Liam has had enough of Miley’s attention-seeking ways and wants out.”
In the weeks following her split from Kaitlynn, Miley seems to be in good spirits and she recently went on vacation with her mom, Tish Cyrus, and Brandi to Arizona and Utah.
