Miley Cyrus Flaunts Her Toned Abs in Arizona After Kaitlynn Carter Split
She’s doing just fine! Miley Cyrus took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 25, to show off her trip to Arizona and Utah — just four days after news broke about the pop stars’ split from Kaitlynn Carter after one month of dating.
“’But if you look at me closely … You can see it in my eyes … This girl will always find … Her way,’” the 26-year-old blonde beauty captioned a photo of herself flaunting her abs at Antelope Canyon in Arizona. Miley’s quote is from Britney Spears’ hit song “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman.” Hmm … perhaps the blonde beauty is talking about her current situation?
Of course, Miley’s fans couldn’t help but show some love in the comments section. One person wrote, “Keep your head up, buttercup! You’re a beautiful soul,” while another echoed, “WHAT A BODY.” A third person chimed in, writing, “QUOTING BRITNEY IN THE DESERT LIKE THE ‘I’M NOT A GIRL’ VIDEO … OH MY.”
The “Malibu” crooner is currently on a much-needed trip with her mom, Tish Cyrus, and sister Brandi Cyrus. Miley has been posting frequently from her vacation including several snaps of her family hiking in Zion National Park in addition to Atlatl Rock.
Meanwhile, Kaitlynn, 31, attended a taping of Dancing With the Stars on Monday, September 23, and it seemed like she was in high spirits. “We’re going to watch Witney [Carson] perform on Dancing With the Stars. Our little star,” she said. The Hills: New Beginnings starlet posted another video of herself dancing around with two of her friends after the show ended. “LOL,” she wrote.
The Grammy nominee and the blogger both broke up with their former husbands this past summer — Liam Hemsworth and Brody Jenner, respectively. The former flames were first spotted making out during their Italian getaway last month. A source previously told In Touch that the blonde beauties had “been friends for a while.”
Even though Miley and Kaitlynn are no longer a couple, it seems like there is no bad blood between them. “As far as I know nothing traumatic occurred,” an insider told In Touch exclusively. “There was no huge blow up or a third party that got between them. Miley is busy doing stuff, and she’s got a lot on her plate. Their romance didn’t fizzle out, it just ran its course. That’s it.”
The source added, “Miley’s fling with Kaitlynn was just what the doctor ordered after her breakup from Liam. Miley doesn’t burn bridges. They had a blast together and are going to remain friends.”
