Miley Cyrus' Dogs: Meet Her Pups Over the Years ⁠— Photos

Going through a ruff time? There’s nothing like a furry friend! Miley Cyrus is officially single again, but luckily she has several precious pups to lean on while adjusting to her relationship status change. The “Slide” singer has been very outspoken about her love for animals, and she’s adopted many dogs of her own over the years. Even though some of her pooches are no longer with us, Miley still cherishes them with all of her heart.

Just a few days ago, the pop star took to Instagram with a message about love and loyalty and she made sure to praise her pets for always sticking by her side — through the good times and the bad. Miley, 26, appeared to be in bliss while cuddled up with her pups on September 29. “Happy Sunday from me and 2 stinky dogs!” she began.

“Waking up surrounded by animals is my favorite way to start a morning. I am immediately reminded about LOVE without conditions … the best part about animals is that they are careless about the details,” Miley continued. “They live by the golden rule … Love and be loved. Nothing in between. No questions regarding wealth, career, talents, race, age sex … They love back 100X … all they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability, and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone).”

It’s certainly been an eventful few months for the songstress, as she parted ways with her husband, Liam Hemsworth, in August 2019, after less than one year of marriage. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the exes shared in a statement with PEOPLE.

Not long after, Miley started a short-lived fling with The Hills: New Beginnings star Kaitlynn Carter. The two were seen packing on PDA during their vacation in Italy, but they ultimately called it quits by September 2019.
