Miley Cyrus Brings BF Cody Simpson as Her Date to Her Brother Braison’s Wedding in Tennessee
Heating up! Miley Cyrus attended her brother Braison Cyrus’ wedding and brought her boyfriend, Cody Simpson, as her date to the affair. “My baby brother got married on the most stunning sunny Tennessee day, standing on top of the same hills where we grew up playing,” the 26-year-old pop star captioned several photos of her family via Instagram on Monday, November 4. “I love you, Braison. So happy for you and Stella.”
The “Malibu” crooner shared five photos from the 25-year-old’s special day — including one of him cutting the cake with his wife, Stella McBride, along with two pictures of Miley with her older sister, Brandi Cyrus. Miley also shared a cute snap of herself hugging her mom, Tish Cyrus, with Cody, 22, on the other side. The Cyrus family seemed to be dressed casual for the occasion since Miley wore a black dress with boots while Tish sported a plaid coat with black pants and boots. Cody, for his part, wore a black hat with a black button-down shirt with black pants.
Braison and Stella got engaged in November 2018. “She said yes,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “My life has changed in so many amazing ways this year but the most amazing has been meeting and falling in love with you. I love you with all my heart, and I cannot wait to marry you, @stylesofstella.”
The Tennessee native also posted a video of herself dancing with Cody — sans shirt — in her house down south. Even though Miley has only been seeing the Australian hunk for about a month, it seems like things are getting more and more serious by the day. The couple loves flaunting their love all over the social media — from dancing to TikTok videos, to showing off their Halloween costumes — and these two can’t get enough of one another.
Since the duo has been pals for a long time, Cody revealed that’s why their relationship works so well. “We’ve been friends for so long that when we sort of found each other again in a space where … we both met back in the day when we were partying a lot,” Cody told In Touch and other reporters on October 11. “We had a lot of fun then. But now we’ve found each other in a space where we’re not partying, working real hard and just like keeps things healthy.”
Following her split from Liam Hemsworth over the summer, Miley seems to have found romance once again. “Cody has a calming effect on Miley, and that’s what she needs right now,” a source told In Touch exclusively in October. “He’s like her comfort food. She needs Cody in her life right now.”
Well, it certainly seems like Cody fits right in with Miley’s fam!
