‘Jersey Shore’ Star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Looks Fit and Healthy in First Pics After Leaving Jail
Big Daddy Sitch out and about! Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was spotted for the first time since he was released from prison on Thursday, September 12, after her served an 8-month prison sentence for tax evasion at Otisville Correctional Institution in New York. The 37-year-old stepped out of the facility around 8:10 a.m., a source told Radar Online. Now, Mike is looking better — and buffer! — than ever in new photos obtained by the outlet while he was at a gas station with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, in East Orange, New Jersey.
The New York native was wearing a gray T-shirt that read, “The comeback is always greater than the setback,” referring to his motto he frequently posts on social media. Mike also wore blue velvet pants with white sneakers and sunglasses. For her part, Lauren sported Adidas blue sweatpants with a black tank top and a jean jacket.
An eyewitness dished that Mike used the bathroom during the pit stop. After he exited, Lauren, 34, went inside with him. “They were in there for no more than two minutes,” the source said. “They did not get food or gas, they just continued on their way.” Afterward, the pair went to their Long Branch home in New Jersey.
Lauren seems overjoyed that her husband is back with her after their time apart. “We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life. Thank you to our family, friends and fans for the continuous love and support during this time,” a rep for Lauren told In Touch. “It brought us so much peace and comfort. We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations! We truly believe that the comeback is ALWAYS greater than the setback, and we can’t wait to show the world ours.”
