YouTube Prankster Speaks Out After Gigi Hadid Confrontation: ‘You Tore My Hair’
After a YouTuber hopped onto the runway at Chanel’s SS20 show in Paris on Tuesday, October 1, Gigi Hadid saved the day by escorting her away from the models. Now, Marie Benoliel, also known as Marie S’Infiltre, is speaking out about the incident on her channel. “Say, I heard ‘Yeah, Marie, your infiltration at ETAM was true?’ or ‘Pfff, too easy’ or ‘Do you buddy with Aya? So, that’s too easy huh … So today I wanted to aim for the impossible: the CHANEL show!” she wrote in her post, which was translated from French. “Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld Oulalalala it’s done! Gigi darling, are you recovering from our fight in the backstage? You tore my hair, and I gave you a knockout. We’re like that with Gigi you can not understand … There we sip a Moscow Mule talking about our love stories. That it’s good to break in by inventing many mythos at fifteen checkpoints, then infiltrate without annoy anyone and roll ball on the most prestigious catwalk in the world! Where everyone makes a funeral head and takes himself very, very seriously.”
However, people were not happy the 28-year-old comedian. One person wrote, “You have no respect for other’s hard work. Hope someday you have the respect for other’s effort. You’re ridiculous,” while another wrote, “Wow. This is tacky AF. LMAO.” A third person chimed in, writing, “I’m sorry, but is this supposed to be funny?”
Earlier that day, Marie jumped on the runway along with the other models in the show wearing a black and white tweed suit and hat. Marie tried to blend in, but ultimately, two men in black walked through the crowd to track her down. Gigi, 24, was the one to take her off the stage, as she appeared to speak to her angrily and placed a hand on her shoulder. Despite the drama, the show was a success as Hollywood A-listers including Anna Wintour and Cardi B looked on.
Gigi’s sister Bella Hadid praised the blonde beauty on Instagram for her actions. “Iconic. @gigihadid,” she captioned a photo of Gigi confronting Marie while fashion editor Carine Roitfeld wrote, “Gigi saves the finale of the Chanel show from a catwalk crasher!”
Gigi can now add hero to her resume.
